Being a “college student” + the day I got rejected from my biggest commercial yet

I was on set today as background for a college show. I think the average age on set was probably 25. I wasn’t feeling very social because my agent called late morning to tell me that I was in the final two being considered for what would have been the biggest project of my career (both pay and exposure wise) but I didn’t get it.

They chose someone that looked nothing like me, so while immediately I felt sad, I was expecting to feel more sad. A few hours later when there was idle time on set I did feel sad but then strangely I felt extra motivated to improve myself.

But a funny thing did happen - I befriended a girl and we were talking about Friends the show, and she said her mom watched it “in real time” like in the 90’s. She was born in 2002. That’s not even the crazy part.

The crazy part is we looked like we were classmates.

I know I write about hair but I really need to write about skin it seems!

Love,

Caro
